Creative download limits

What counts toward the download limit, when it resets, and how to check usage.

Direct answer

The number of creatives you can download during a billing period depends on your plan and workspace settings.

Viewing creatives and saving them to collections do not use the download limit.

Main conditions

A download is counted when the system has successfully prepared the file and started sending it to the user.

The limit applies to all supported formats:

  • images
  • videos
  • archives
  • bulk exports of materials

Which actions count

  • Open creative card — No — The file is not downloaded.
  • Preview image — No — This is a normal view.
  • Play video — No — Viewing is not a download.
  • Save creative to collection — No — Only a link to the material is stored.
  • Copy link — No — The file stays in the service.
  • Download image — Yes — One download operation.
  • Download video — Yes — One download operation.
  • Download the same file again — Yes — Counted separately.
  • Export 10 creatives — Yes — Every prepared creative counts.
  • Download ends with an error — Usually no — Depends on the stage where the error happened.

When the limit updates

The limit resets at the start of the new billing period.

The reset date depends on the subscription start or renewal date. It may not match the first day of the calendar month.

For example, if the subscription renews on the 18th, the new billing period also starts on the 18th.

Unused downloads do not carry over to the next period unless the plan terms say otherwise.

Team workspaces

In a team workspace, the limit can be:

  • shared for all members
  • separate for each user
  • distributed by an administrator among members

If the limit is shared, one member's downloads reduce the available balance for the whole team.

Access to usage information may depend on the user's role. An administrator usually sees more data than a regular member.

Technical error

If the system could not prepare the file, the operation is usually not counted.

Usage information may update with a delay, so the final status may not appear immediately.

Canceled download

If the user canceled the operation after the file was prepared, the download may still be counted.

Plan change

After switching to another plan, the new limit may apply:

  • immediately after payment
  • after the current period ends
  • at the start of the next billing period

The exact behavior depends on the subscription terms.

Corporate terms

Corporate accounts may have custom limits agreed in the contract.

The contract terms take priority over the standard plan description.

Deleting a downloaded file

Deleting the file from the device does not return the used download.

Removing creative from collection

Removing a creative from a collection also does not return the download, because collections do not manage plan limits.

How to check remaining

Usage information is available in the Subscription and usage section.

There you can check:

  • the total limit
  • the amount used
  • the remaining balance
  • the next reset date
  • team usage, if it is available on your plan

What to do next

If the limit is exhausted:

  • wait for the next billing period
  • contact the workspace administrator
  • check whether you can switch to another plan
  • contact support if the usage data looks incorrect

When contacting support, include:

  • your account email
  • the workspace name
  • the approximate download time
  • the creative name or link
  • a description of the expected and actual behavior
